Lily and Dutch are both miniature horses who have come to HillCroft to work with our younger Equine Facilitated Psychotherapy (EFP) clients. They are best buddies who share a stall and love to spend all their time together. In addition to being adorable, Lily likes to jump straight in the air while playing and Dutch also “drives” a cart and will “shake” his hoof with you.

Josie is an 20 year-old Pinto pony and is one of the newest members of the farm. She enjoys teaching children how to ride and offers a friendly nicker whenever anyone enters the barn. She has a very smooth gait and is a joy to ride!

Robar is a 18 year-old Thoroughbred gelding. After a short racing career, he has become a valuable lesson horse and especially looks forward to his rides with his owner Kelley. Originally Robar came to Sally Bauder with many problems and is one of the main reasons HillCroft Stables was established. Thank you Robar!

Flirt is a 19 year-old pleasantly plump pony who as you probably guessed, loves food! She specializes in teaching her young students how to steer and after having a successful Hunter career, believes she should collect all her payment in handfuls of yummy treats.She is also an Equine Facilitated Psychotherapy (EFP) horse.

Aries is a 12 year-old Selle Francais Lipizzan cross that is currently working on the training level test in Dressage. He loves peppermints and Sally.

Emma is a 8 year-old Oldenburg mare who prides herself on her large brown ears and long stride. She has a forward and steady gait and has proven to be a very talented Dressage horse. She is a valuable lesson horse for intermediate and advanced riders.

Darlin is a large Paint pony who has spent the last 5 years living in her owner’s backyard but has now come to give lessons and live at HillCroft with her brother D.J. She loves to talk quietly with Boey when she is in her stall, and to go out and play with her new best friend, Flirt. When Darlin is wondering about something new, she moves her upper lip in a full circle.

Duckie is also a tall mare with a fan club. She is a 23 year-old Trakehner and has won the hearts of many at HillCroft. Duckie is well-schooled in Dressage, over fences and enjoys her lessons with advanced riders. If you ask her correctly, she just might do a Spanish walk for you too!

Wil is a 17 year-old Thoroughbred gelding that is a real showman and thinks he is the king of the barn. William has had an extensive career in Dressage and the Hunters ring. He enjoys spending time with his loving owner Sally and the rest of his fan club.  Anybody that has seen Wil practice dressage has seen the sparkle in his eye when he is doing what he loves best. He also really loves to play hard with his buddies in the paddock! He is also an Equine Facilitated Psychotherapy (EFP) horse.

Marnie is a VERY tall 10 year-old Trakehner/Hanoverian cross. She is currently learning dressage and recently went to her first dressage show this summer and made Karol and Sally very proud! (As you will see, Marnie also has her own fan club but don’t tell William).

Ellie is a 8 year-old Leopard Appaloosa mare that really enjoys jumping, eating, and working on her new found Dressage career (in no particular order…well, maybe food should have been listed first). She prides herself on being able to be ‘spotted’ anywhere!

Boey is a 26 year-old Quarter horse gelding who was retired as a school horse after his Hunter/Jumper career.
